You can apply for Veterans' Group Life Insurance (VGLI) or Service-Disabled Veterans Insurance (S-DVI) online using our online applications. The online application will walk you through each step of the application process. Use one of the following links to access our online applications.

VA Life Insurance

If your policy number begins with a V, RH, J, RS, K or W, follow this link to access your policy information.

 Veterans' Group Life Insurance (VGLI)

What can you do online?
VA Life Insurance policyholders can:

  • View policy information such as face amount, loan and cash value, premium status
  • Change their mode of premium payment
  • View an image of their beneficiary designation
  • Request mailing of Annual Policy statement, statement of loan and cash values or beneficiary designation form
  • Request a policy loan
  • Request a dividend withdrawal (NEW)
  • Change their dividend option (NEW)

What can you do online?
VGLI, policyholders can:

  • View policy information such as face amount and premium status
  • Change mailing address, policy beneficiary, last name, phone number, email address and payment frequency
  • Start or stop payment of premiums by deduction from military pay or VA benefits check
  • Make a premium payment via credit card
  • Download a replacement certificate of insurance
